Daguerreotype of Man With a Switch
Another one of my favorite images. This gentleman projects a comfortable and relaxed air. He obviously feels at ease in a casual seating position. Better seen in the original daguerreotype than in this scan, there is a ring on his elevated pinky finger. His other hand is holding a switch. He sports a comfortable smile and is well dressed. A 1/6 plate image.
