Brownie Safelight Lamp and Box
The Brownie Safelight, manufactured by Eastman Kodak Company, is a vintage electric darkroom safelight. A patent date of 1918 is stamped into the metal housing. The safelight has two light filters. One is rectangular and large; the other is smaller and circular and fitted on the end of the housing. Both are Wratten series 2 filters, for orthochromatic film. The threaded lamp base fits a standard USA light socket and is rated at 110 - 240 volts at 10 watts.
